Here Emily is making friends with her great grandparents at dinner time. She loved to smile at great grandma and to wave at great grandpa. She was also a big hit with the staff, one of the attendants stole her to show Emily off to her co-workers. Curt had to follow after her quickly so we would know where Emily was when she started crying. One thing we learned is that Europeans, and in particular Italians, are inclined to pick up your baby without asking you and possibly run off somewhere. It's a little harrowing when you can't really communicate that well with them. We had a guy across from us on the plane taking pictures of Emily on his camera phone too. I don't mean one or two, but probably 7-8 pictures! I can't imagine doing something like that, but that's what we got. Very interesting.
